Moroccan Couscous Recipe
Ingredients
| Sodium chicken broth | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Couscous | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| 2/3 cup Pitted Dates or Pitted Prunes, chopped | ||
| 1/2 cup chopped green onions | ||
| 1/3 cup Golden or Seedless Raisins | ||
| Sliced almonds | 3 Tablespoon, toasted | |
Directions
• Combine broth, cinnamon and nutmeg in medium saucepan. Bring to boil.
• Stir in couscous, dates, green onions and raisins. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand 5 minutes.
• Stir couscous mixture with fork; spoon into serving dish. Sprinkle with almonds.
