Mornay Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shredded Swiss cheese | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 3 Tablespoon, grated | |
| 2 tablespoons dry vermouth, white wine, or lemon juice | ||
Directions
In medium saucepan, melt butter.
Blend in flour and seasonings.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium-high heat until smooth and bubbly.
Stir in milk all at once.
Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens.
Remove from heat.
Stir in cheeses until Swiss cheese is melted.
Stir in vermouth.
