Moravian Scotch Cakes Recipe

Directions
Combine flour, sugar, and caraway seed in a bowl.
Cut in butter until mixture becomes a soft dough (requires working beyond the stage when particles are the size of rice kernels); shape into a ball.
Roll a third of dough at a time 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
Cut into 2-inch squares.
Transfer to lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 325°F about 20 minutes.
Cool cookies; spread with Snowy Icing, and sprinkle with colored sugar.
