Moongfali Chi Ghanti Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground groundnuts - 1 cup, peeled and nicely | ||
| Green chillies | 4 | |
| Coconut | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Coriander leaves - handful, sliced | ||
| Juice of lime - 1 teaspoon, strained | ||
| Cumin seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Asafoetida - a pinch | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Sugar - to taste | ||
| Chilli powder - to taste | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a vessel mix together peanuts, chillies, salt, coconut, sugar and 4 cups water.
2. Cook for 5 minutes.
3. Take off from fire and add coriander leaves.
4. In a skillet heat 2 tablespoons ghee and add asafoetida and cumin seeds.
5. When seeds stop spluttering, add groundnuts.
SERVING
6. Serve hot.
