Mooli ka Parantha Recipe

Mooli Paratha, are stuffed Indian bread, which are griddles on hot plate and consumed immediately. North Indian breakfast cannot be imagined without the paratha with butter or curds.

Recipe Story

Mooli ka Paratha, is my favorite among the various stuffings for paranthas. Radish give a nice spicy and pungent flavor to this crispy stuffed bread

Ingredients

 Radish3
 Salt1 To taste
 Red chilli powder1/2 Teaspoon
 Coriander powder1/2 Teaspoon
 Green chillies2
 Coriander leaves2 Tablespoon
 Wheat flour2 Cup (16 tbs) (For dough:)
 Salt1 To taste (For dough:)
 Water - as needed
 Frying Oil2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying)

Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a bowl, sieve the wheat flour and salt. Add water and knead to stiff dough. Cover and keep aside.

MAKING
2. Peel and grate the radish. Squeeze and drain all the water.
3. In a frying pan, add oil and fry the radish to light brown. Add salt, red chilli powder, green chillies, corainder leaves and mix well. Allow it to cool.

FINALISING
4. With some dough and roll into small puri, put 2 teaspoons of stuffing and cover all the sides. Roll again into a thick, round parantha.
5. On a hot plate, heat and fry the mooli ka paratha both sides to crispy and brown. Put some oil over the paratha.

SERVING
6. Serve the mooli paratha hot with raita or curry.
