Monterey Jack Fondue Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Minced onion | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Garlic powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Ground red pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Evaporated milk | 1 5 Ounce | |
| Chicken broth | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shredded monterey jack cheese | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| French bread cubes | ||
Directions
1 In a small saucepan melt margarine; stir in flour, onion, garlic powder, and red pepper. Stir in milk and broth all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Gradually add cheese, stirring until cheese is melted. Transfer to a fondue pot; place over fondue burner.
