 Butter margarine4 Tablespoon, softened
 3 slices firm-textured white bread
 Turkey chicken slice2
 2 slices Monterey Jack, Swiss, or Cheddar cheese
 1 egg, lightly beaten
 Milk1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

Butter bread, 2 slices on 1 side only, 1 slice on both sides.
Lay chicken on a buttered slice, top with doubly buttered slice, cheese, and last slice, buttered side down.
Press together lightly; if you like, trim off crusts.
Mix egg, milk, and salt, dip in sandwich, coating edges as well as sides.
Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet or griddle and brown sandwich over moderately low heat about 2 minutes on each side.
