Mongolian Grill Recipe
Ingredients
3 pounds lamb shoulder chops or 2 pounds boneless lean beef or a combination of both
3 large carrots, shredded
2 large onions, thinly sliced
3/4 pound bean sprouts, washed and drained
2 green peppers, seeded and cut in
1/4 inch wide strips
3 cups shredded cabbage
Seasoning sauces
Salad oil
12 Chinese sesame buns
Directions
Trim excess fat from meat; cut meat from the bone.
Slice meat across the grain into strips 1/4 inch thick and 2 to 3 inches long.
Place meats, vegetables, and sauces in separate bowls.
At serving time, preheat electric griddle to 350°.
For each serving, have guests select about 1 cup of mixed vegetables, douse them with 1 or 2 teaspoons of each seasoning sauce, then select several slices of meat.
Brush griddle with about 1 teaspoon oil and put on meats.
Cook meat, turning, until lightly browned add vegetables and seasonings.
Continue cooking, stirring meat and vegetables until vegetables are just tender
Stuff into Chinese sesame bun and eat out of hand or serve with rice.
