Directions

Preheat oven to 350°C.
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa, and salt together into a medium-size mixing bowl.
Beat in remaining ingredients, in order, mixing well after each addition.
Finally, stir in nuts.
Spread into a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until done.
Cool in pan before slicing into squares.
