Mom S Bulgur Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Cracked wheat | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Boiling water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Green onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Carrot | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| 2 tomatoes, sliced into sixths | ||
| Alfalfa sprouts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Ground black pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Pour boiling water over wheat in a small bowl; cover and let stand about 30 minutes.
Drain.
Place fluffed bulgur into a large serving bowl.
Let cool completely.
Salt lightly to taste.
Add remaining ingredients.
Pour dressing over the salad and correct seasonings.
