Moulded Ginger Ale & Pear Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Lime package | 1 , flavored | |
| Boiling water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ginger ale | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pear | 4 Large, drained | |
| Lemon juice | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Lettuce leaves | ||
| Mayonnaise or unflavored yogurt | ||
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in ginger ale.
Chill until thick and syrupy.
Meanwhile, peel, halve, and core pears.
Immediately brush surface of pears with lemon juice.
Arrange pears round-side-down in a 1 1/2-quart mold.
Pour thickened gelatin over pear halves.
Cover and chill until firm (at least 3 hours).
Unmold on serving platter; surround with lettuce leaves and garnish with dollops of mayonnaise.
