Molasses Spice Crisps Recipe
I have learnt this Molasses Spice Crisps from one of my friend. This Molasses Spice Crisps should be tried by everyone and I am sure you will always crave for more!!
Ingredients
| Shortening | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tablespoons light molasses | ||
| 2 tablespoons dark molasses | ||
Directions
Cream the shortening and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg.
Mix together the flour, baking soda, cloves, ginger and cinnamon.
Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the light and dark molasses, mixing well after each addition.
Shape into walnut-size balls and dip in sugar.
Place sugar side up on a nonstick cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
