 1/3 cup reduced-calorie margarine
 1/2 cup nutlike cereal nuggets
 Firmly packed brown sugar1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Molasses2 Tablespoon
 Vanilla extract1 Teaspoon
 Egg1 , beaten
 All purpose flour1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Whole wheat flour1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/3 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
 Baking powder1/2 Teaspoon
 Baking soda1/8 Teaspoon
 Vegetable cooking spray
 Powdered sugar2 Teaspoon

Directions

Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat; add cereal.
Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat add brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, and egg, stirring until well blended.
Combine flours and next 3 ingredients in a medium bowl.
Add to cereal mixture; stir well.
Spread into an 8-inch square pan that has been coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 350° for 18 minutes.
Let cool.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cut into 2- x 1 1/2-inch bars.
