Directions

MAKING
1. In a skillet, heat water and sugar, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves. Add lime zest. Allow to cool.
2. In a pitcher, add fresh lime juice, mint leaves and lime, crush nicely to blend the flavors together.
3. Add rum.

SERVING
4. In a glass, put crushed ice, pour the rum mixture and top it with club soda, stir gently.
5. It goes great with barbecue preparations.
