Moist Bran Bread Recipe
Making moist bran bread at home is very easy. You may have to practice for a couple of time but you will get the right bread soon. Moist Bran Bread is good serve with tea and even eat all alone. this soft bread leaves a lasting taste in your mouth.
Ingredients
Oven-toasted bran cereal-2 cups
Yeast-1 package
Applesauce-1 1/2 cups, sieved
Brown sugar-1/2 cup (packed)
Salt-1 teaspoon
Butter-2 tablespoons, melted
All-purpose flour-8 1/4 cups, sifted
Directions
GETTING READY
1)Soak cereal in 1 1/2 cups boiling water for 30 minutes.
2)Dissolve yeast in 1/3 cup warm water.
MAKING
3)In a bowl, mix together cereal mixture, yeast mixture, applesauce, brown sugar, salt and butter.
4)Add 7 cups flour, 1 cup at a time.
5)Leave it for one hour to rise.
6)Knead it lightly and shape into 2 loaves.
7)Take 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans and put the loaves into them. Let them rise for 1 hour.
8)Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
9)Then, decrease heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.

10)Serve the moist bran bread with tea.
