Ingredients

 Gram flour2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Khoya1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed
 1/2 tsp saffron, soaked in 1 tbsp milk
 Pistachios2 Tablespoon, minced
 Ghee1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cardamom powder1 Teaspoon
 Milk3/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Sieve gram flour and mix with milk and ghee to form a smooth mixture, without leaving lumps.
Reserve.
Mix sugar with 1 1/2 cups water and boil till a syrup of one-thread consistency is obtained.
Heat 2 tbsp of ghee and fry the gram flour mixture till pink and aromatic.
Add khoya and continue frying till golden.
Add syrup, nuts, cardamom powder and stir fry till the mixture is a solid mass.
Pat onto a greased plate.
Cool and cut into squares.
Serve at room temperature.
