Directions
1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2) Grease and flour 2 9-inch layer cake pans.
MAKING
3) Sift together the sugar and flour 4 times.
4) Add in boiling water and mix well.
5) Allow the flour mix sit for a while and cool.
6) In a bowl, add egg whites and beat till frothy.
7) Add in the cream of tartar and salt.
8) Beat till stiff.
9) Fold in the flour mix.
10) Add in the baking powder, vanilla, and almond flavoring.
11) Pour into the greased cake pans.
12) Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Cool.
13) Remove from the pans.
14) Frost as desired.
SERVING
15) Slice and serve.
