Ingredients
1 cup water 1/2 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Dash salt
1 1/2 cups water
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 9-inch baked pastry shell, cooled
Whipping cream, whipped
Directions
In 2-cup glass measure, bring the 1 cup water to boiling at HIGH for 2 1/2 minutes.
Add raisins; cool.
Drain raisins and set aside.
In 4-cup glass measure, combine sugar, cornstarch, flour, and salt.
Stir in the 1 1/2 cups water.
Cook at HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes or till thickened and bubbly, stirring after each minute.
Stir 3/4 cup hot mixture into egg yolks; return to hot mixture.
Cook at HIGH for 1 minute, stirring once.
Add butter; stir till melted.
Slowly stir in vinegar.
Stir in raisins.
Pour into pastry shell.
Chill.
