Mock Hollandaise Sauce Recipe

I once came across this interesting Mock Hollandaise Sauce. Had absolutely no clue that such a complicated named recipe can be so easily cooked. Hollandaise is basically mixture of eggs in butter and lemon juice. Mock Hollandaise Sauce is the creamy white sauce in addition to eggs and butter.

3/4 cup basic white sauce
 
2 tablespoons butter
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 teaspoon paprika
 
1 tablespoon lemon juice
 
2 egg yolks, beaten

Directions

Heat the white sauce slowly.
Add butter, then seasonings and lemon juice.
Blend several tablespoons of the hot sauce with the beaten egg yolks and then return to the pan.
Cook over low heat until smooth and thick, stirring constantly.
Do not boil.
