 Large potatoes - 2, peeled, washed and grated
 Self-rising flour - 1 tbsp (15 ml)
 Egg - 1, beaten water, to mix
 Oil - for shallow-frying
 Cooked bacon strips
 Tomato sauce or catsup, to serve

MAKING
1 In a bowl, place grated potatoes.
2 Add flour, egg and sufficient water to bind together.
3 In a pan, heat oil.
4 Drop tablespoonfuls (15 ml) of mixture into the pan.
