|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Uncooked brown rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned cream of mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz) (1 can)|
|Canned cream of chicken soup||1 Can (10 oz) (1 can)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Bean sprouts||2 Cup (32 tbs) (canned sprouts can be used)|
|Canned water chestnuts||8 Ounce, drained and sliced (optional, 1 can)|
|Canned chow mein noodles||3 Ounce (1 can)|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce (1 package)|

In vegetable oil in a large frying pan, saute' onion and celery for 5 minutes.
Add ground beef and brown well.
Stir in rice and cook until transparent.
Finally, stir in soups, soy sauce, bean sprouts, and water chestnuts.
Bake in a large casserole, uncovered for 30 minutes.
Stir in 1/3 can chow mein noodles and frozen peas.
Bake 30 more minutes or until rice isjusttender; sprinkle remaining noodles on top and bake 10 minutes more.
