Mocha Icebox Roll Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 pint cream for whipping
2 tablespoons cocoa (not a mix)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee powder
1 package (8 1/2 ounces) thin chocolate cookies
1 square unsweetened chocolate, grated
Directions
Combine cream, cocoa, sugar and coffee in small bowl of electric mixer; whip until mixture mounds softly.
Put chocolate cookies together with half the cream mixture in stacks of 4 or 5 cookies.
Stand stacks on edge on serving plate to make one long roll.
Frost outside with remaining whipped cream.
Garnish roll with grated chocolate.
Refrigerate several hours.
To serve, cut roll diagonally into slices.
