Mocha Chip Squares Recipe
Ingredients
| Unflavored gelatin | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Instant coffee | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Dash | |
| Egg yolks | 2 | |
| Milk | 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Egg whites | 2 | |
| Heavy cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped | |
| Semisweet chocolate pieces | 6 Ounce, chopped (1 Cup) | |
| California walnuts | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), broken |

Directions
Beat together egg yolks and milk; stir into gelatin mixture.
Cook and stir over hot, not boiling water till slightly thick.
Add vanilla; chill till partially set.
Beat egg whites till soft peaks form; gradually add 1/4 CUP sugar, beating till stiff peaks form; fold into gelatin.
Reserve 1/2 cup of whipped cream and 2 tablespoons chocolate for garnish.
Fold in remaining cream, chocolate, and nuts.
Pour into 10x6x1 1/2 inch dish; chill till firm.
Cut in squares; garnish.
