Mocha Java Pie Recipe
Ingredients
1 crumb crust pie shell
1 (3 1/2 oz) chocolate pudding mix (not instant)
2 cups milk
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 1/4 tsp. instant coffee powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. shaved chocolate
Directions
Prepare crumb crust (chocolate is nice).
Chill.
In 4 cup glass measure combine pudding mix and milk.
Microwave (high) 6-8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
Cool 5 minutes.
Pour into chilled pie shell; chill.
Whip cream until thick.
Fold in powdered sugar, coffee powder and vanilla.
Spread evenly over cooled pie.
Top with shaved chocolate.
Chill.
