 Butter/Margarine3 Tablespoon, softened
 Confectioner’s sugar1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
 Instant coffee2 Teaspoon
 Cocoa2 Teaspoon
 2 tablespoons hot milk
 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or rum extract or brandy flavoring
 Frosts 1 (8 or 9-inch) layer cake

Directions

In a mixing bowl combine butter, sugar, coffee, cocoa, 1 tablespoon of hot milk and the vanilla.
With portable electric mixer or wooden spoon beat mixture at medium speed until smooth and fluffy.
Gradually beat in a little more hot milk if mixture seems too thick to spread.
