Mocha Cake Recipe
Mocha Cake has a exciting taste. Mocha Cake gets its taste from sponge cake mixed with cream and flavored with coffee beans. Mocha Cake is inspired by many cafeterias around the world.
Ingredients
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup strong coffee
2 oz Irish cream liqueur
1 coffee spongecake or cocoa spongecake
1 1/4 cups mocha butter cream
1 1/4 cups chocolate
Chantilly cream
1/4 cup roasted coffee beans
1/4 cup icing sugar
Directions
Dissolve sugar in coffee.
Add Irish cream liqueur.
Set aside.
Slice spongecake into 3 layers.
Brush first layer with 1/2 cup (60 mL) coffee mixture.
Spread with half the butter cream.
Place second layer on top.
Brush with 1/4 cup (60 mL) coffee mixture.
Spread with remaining butter cream.
Cover with third spongecake layer, then remaining coffee mixture.
Spread chocolate Chantilly cream over top and sides of cake.
Decorate with coffee beans.
Dust with icing sugar.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
