Mocha Baked Alaska Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 layer spongecake | ||
| Egg whites | 3 | |
| Confectioner’s sugar | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1/2 pints Mocha | ||
| Ice Cream, frozen in a mold | ||
Directions
Place a layer of spongecake which is cut a little larger than the mold of ice cream, on a board covered with heavy brown paper.
Beat egg whites until stiff, add sugar gradually and continue beating.
Add vanilla.
Unmold Mocha Ice Cream onto the cake.
Cover thickly with meringue.
Place on baking sheet and brown under broiler heat.
Serve at once.
