Mixed Lettuce Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Iceberg lettuce head | 1 , shredded | |
| Romaine lettuce head | 1 Medium, shredded | |
| 1 head Bibb or Boston lettuce, shredded | ||
| Slivered almonds | 6 Tablespoon, toasted | |
| Heavy cream | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (DRESSING) | |
| 2 tablespoons Meaux or Dijon mustard | ||
| Lemon juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (DRESSING) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Blend the cream into the mustard, then add the lemon juice and seasoning.
Cover and keep cool.
Toss the lettuce together and put into one or two cold salad bowls.
Stir the dressing and pour over the lettuce.
Toss lightly, then sprinkle the nuts over.
Toss again very briefly and serve at once.
