Ingredients

 6 cups assorted raw vegetables such as sliced broccoli, sliced cauliflowerets, green pepper strips, sliced celery, shredded carrots, sliced fennel, tomato wedges, and sliced pitted olives
 4 cups torn mixed salad greens such as iceberg, leaf, bibb, and boston lettuce, curly endive, and romaine
 Snipped parsley3 Tablespoon
 Dried basil2 Teaspoon, crushed
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 1/3 cup olive oil or salad oil
 Wine vinegar1/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

In large salad bowl combine raw vegetables and torn salad greens.
Sprinkle with snipped parsley, basil, and salt; drizzle with olive oil or salad oil and wine vinegar.
Toss salad mixture till vegetables and salad greens are well coated.
