Mixed Green Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 cups assorted raw vegetables such as sliced broccoli, sliced cauliflowerets, green pepper strips, sliced celery, shredded carrots, sliced fennel, tomato wedges, and sliced pitted olives | ||
| 4 cups torn mixed salad greens such as iceberg, leaf, bibb, and boston lettuce, curly endive, and romaine | ||
| Snipped parsley | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Dried basil | 2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/3 cup olive oil or salad oil | ||
| Wine vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
In large salad bowl combine raw vegetables and torn salad greens.
Sprinkle with snipped parsley, basil, and salt; drizzle with olive oil or salad oil and wine vinegar.
Toss salad mixture till vegetables and salad greens are well coated.
