Peel, core, and dice pears; measure 2 cups.
Pit and dice plums; measure 2 cups.
In 8- to 10-quart kettle or Dutch oven combine peaches, pears, plums, sugar, and raisins.
Heat and stir till sugar dissolves.
Bring fruit mixture to full rolling boil.
Boil hard, uncovered, for 15 to 18 minutes or till syrup sheets from metal spoon, stirring constantly.
Stir in nuts and lemon juice.
Remove from heat.
Skim off foam with metal spoon.
Ladle at once into hot, clean, half-pint jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
Wipe jar rims; adjust lids.
Process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes (start timing when water returns to boiling).
