Ingredients

 Dried apricots1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Dried prunes1 Pound
 1 1-lb. can dark cherries, pitted, with liquid
 1/2 cups canned pineapple chunks, with liquid
 Water2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

MAKING
1. In a 3 quart slow-cooker or crock pot, combine all the fruits, canning liquid and water.
2. Cover the pot tightly with its lid.
3. Cook the fruits on HIGH for about 4 hours or on LOW for almost 7 hours until the fruits are soft and mushy.

SERVING
4. Serve the compote hot or cold for breakfast, as a dessert or as an accompaniment to roasts.
