Ingredients

 Red lentils1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Whole moong dal1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (whole green gram)
 Masoor dal1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (red gram)
 Channa dal1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (chickpeas)
 Garam masala powder1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Finely chopped onion1 Large
 Chopped tomatoes1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Turmeric powder1 Teaspoon
 Red chili powder2 Teaspoon
 Ghee6 Tablespoon
 Salt To Taste
 Hot green chilies5 , finely chopped or slit length wise in between
 Cumin1 Teaspoon
 Garlic paste1 Teaspoon
 Ginger paste1 Teaspoon
 Lemon juice1 Tablespoon
 Chopped coriander2 Tablespoon
 Amchur1 Teaspoon (dry mango powder)

Directions

1 Mix and wash thoroughly all Dals (lentils). Soak for 15 minutes. Cook slowly in medium heat until half done.
2 Heat ½ of ghee and fry onions. Add all of the spices until onions are fried until light golden brown.
3 Add the onion and mixture to Dals (lentils) and cook until done.
4 Heat remaining ghee in a small saucepan on a high. Add all of all the garnish except Cilantro and lemon juice and fry for few more seconds.
5 Add lemon juice and chopped coriander to Dal. Pour fried garnish to Dal.sprinkle aam choor powder. Serve hot with roti or rice
