Ingredients
1 cup melted semi-sweet chocolate (melt on double boiler)
½ lb butter
2 cups sugar
½ tsp salt
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup cream
1 cup chopped nuts of your choice
Directions
Take a bowl and combine salt, butter (at room temperature), sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Blend in the mixer. Add in the melted chocolate and flour. Blend well in the mixer. Add chopped nuts and fold into the mixture.
Grease two pie dishes with cooking spray. Divide the batter evenly between the two dishes. Bake in a pre-heated oven (at 375 degrees) for 30 minutes. Let the brownie cool for 30-45 minutes. Pour the coffee ice cream on top of the brownie crust and spread evenly. Put into the freezer.
Take a mixer bowl and put in 1 cup cream and blend well with a cup of powdered confectioner’s sugar. Blend till the peaks are formed. Add half and half and mix well. Take out the pie from the refrigerator and put the cream mixture on top. Spread evenly. Put back into the refrigerator for an hour. Serve drizzled with chocolate syrup.
For the chocolate syrup:
Take a saucepan and melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate. Add 3 tbsp half and half and let boil till it reaches the desired consistency. Take out a slice of the pie on a dish and serve drizzled with chocolate syrup.
