Miso Soup With Egg Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 cups regular-strength chicken or beef broth or Dashi | ||
| 1/4 cup fermented soy bean paste | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| 2 teaspoons sherry or sweet rice wine, optional | ||
| Twists of orange or lemon peel and slices of green onion tops for garnish | ||
Directions
Bring broth or Dashi mixed with miso and salt to a boil.
While swirling the soup in the pan, gradually trickle in the beaten egg.
Remove from heat.
Add wine, if you wish.
Place a twist of orange or lemon peel in each bowl before adding soup.
Top with green onion rings.
