Miroton Of Mutton Recipe
Ingredients
| Mutton leg 500 gm. | ||
| Tomato sauce | 470 Milliliter (For 4) | |
| Refined flour | 15 Gram (For 4) | |
| Butter | 15 Gram (For 4) | |
| Onion | 15 Gram (For 4) | |
| Potatoes 450 . gm. | ||
| Parsley | 1/4 Bunch (100gm) (For 4) | |
| Mint a sprig | ||
| Pepper | 1 (For 4) | |
| Salt | 10 Gram (For 4) | |
| Stock | 590 Milliliter (For 4) | |
Directions
1. Clean and roast leg of mutton, cool and carve into thin slices.
2. Boil potatoes and mash.
3. Prepare a brown sauce with flour, butter, onion and stock.
4. Chop mint and parsley fine.
5. Dredge meat with pepper, salt and chopped parsley and mint.
6. Arrange slices of meat overlapping in a greased pyrex dish.
7. Pipe a border of mashed potatoes all around.
8. Pour the sauces mixed together over the meat. Sauce should be enough to cover the meat.
9. Bake in a fairly quick oven and dust the top of the sauce with finely chopped mint before serving.
