 Lemon juice1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 cup packed fresh mint leaves, or to taste
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Lemon zest1 Tablespoon, grated
 Fresh mint sprigs for garnish if desired

Directions

In a saucepan bring 6 cups water to a boil, stir in the lemon juice, the mint, the sugar, and the lemon zest, and let the mixture cool.
Chill the lemonade, covered, for at least 1 hour.
Strain the lemonade into tall glasses filled with ice and garnish each glass with a mint sprig.
