Minted Lemonade Recipe
Ingredients
| Lemon juice | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup packed fresh mint leaves, or to taste | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon zest | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Fresh mint sprigs for garnish if desired | ||
Directions
In a saucepan bring 6 cups water to a boil, stir in the lemon juice, the mint, the sugar, and the lemon zest, and let the mixture cool.
Chill the lemonade, covered, for at least 1 hour.
Strain the lemonade into tall glasses filled with ice and garnish each glass with a mint sprig.
