Mint Pears Recipe
This Mint Pears dish is so tasty that almost always you will be left wishing you had prepared more of it. The wonderful flavor of mint and pear in the mint pear dish is irresistible.
Ingredients
1 pound pears, cored, pared, and quartered
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups water
3 tablespoons creme de menthe
Directions
Place pears on rack in cooker.
Mix sugar in water until dissolved; pour over pears.
Close cover securely; put pressure control in place.
When pressure is reached, cook for 2 minutes.
Cool at once under running water.
Allow fruit to cool completely.
When pears are cold, add creme de menthe.
Serve the pears with meat or as a dessert.
