Mint Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt | ||
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped or 1 tablespoon dried mint | ||
| 1 teaspoon fresh basil or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In the top of a double boiler combine yogurt, lemon juice, mint, basil, garlic, salt and sugar; mix well.
In the bottom of the double boiler place a small amount of water.
Heat over low heat until hot.
Over the hot water place the top of the double boiler.
Heat to serving temperature.
In the bottom of the double boiler place a small amount of water.
Heat over low heat until hot.
Over the hot water place the top of the double boiler.
Heat to serving temperature.
