Miniature Gingerbread Men Recipe

 Molasses1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 All purpose flour2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)
 Ground cloves1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Ground cinnamon1 Teaspoon
 Ground ginger1 Teaspoon
 Raisins1 Tablespoon, chopped (optional)

Cream butter and sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add egg and molasses; beat well.
Combine next 4 ingredients; add to creamed mixture, stirring well.
Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Work with one-fourth of dough at a time; store remainder in refrigerator.
Place dough on a lightly greased cookie sheet; roll out to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut dough with a floured 2 1/4-inch gingerbread man cookie cutter, leaving 1 inch between each cookie.
Remove excess dough; combine with remaining dough in refrigerator.
Decorate with raisins, if desired.
Bake at 350° for 7 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool on cookie sheets 3 to 5 minutes; remove to wire racks, and cool completely.
Repeat procedure with remaining dough.
