Miniature Teriyaki Pork Kabobs Recipe
Miniature teriyaki pork kebabs are fruited pork kebabs made with bell pepper and mandarin oranges. Threaded on bamboo or metal skewers, these miniature teriyaki pork kebabs are broiled to cook with a brush of teriyaki sauce combined with honey and vinegar. with a hint of garlic to it, these kebabs are great as sides in a meal.
Ingredients
1 pound boneless pork, cut into 4 X 1 X 1/2 inch strips
1 small green bell pepper, cut into 1 X 1/4 X 1/4 inch strips
1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Soak 24 (8-inch) bamboo skewers in water 10 minutes.
Thread 1 pepper strip, then pork strips accordion-style with mandarin oranges on skewers.
Place 1 pepper strip on end of each skewer.
Arrange skewers on broiler pan.
For sauce, combine teriyaki sauce, honey, vinegar and garlic powder in small bowl; mix well.
Brush sauce over kabobs.
Broil, 6 inches from heat, about 15 minutes or until pork is done, turning and basting with sauce occasionally.
