Miniature Cream Puff Shells Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 cup water
 
1/2 cup butter or margarine
 
1 cup all-purpose flour
 
Few grains salt
 
4 eggs

Directions

Combine water and butter in saucepan.
Heat to rolling boil.
Mix flour and salt; stir in all at once.
Stir over low heat until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a smooth compact mass (about 1 minute).
Remove from heat.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating vigorously after each addition.
Beat until smooth and velvety.
Drop by scant teaspoonfuls on un greased baking sheets.
Bake at 425° for about 15 minutes, or until brown and puffed.
Remove from pan; cool.
