Mini Mistletoe Turnovers Recipe
Mini mistletoe turnovers is a cheesy turnovers recipe. Prepared with spinach combined with ricotta and mozzarella cheese, the mixture is wrapped in crecent roll triangles. Sealed and baked to a lovely goldne brown these turnovers can be served as a side in meals or as snacks with a dipping sauce!
Ingredients
1 envelope Onion Soup Mix
2 eggs, beaten
1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
2 cups (16 ounces) ricotta or creamed cottage cheese
1 scant cup (about 3 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
3 packages (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In large bowl, combine onion soup mix, eggs, spinach and cheeses.
Separate crescent rolls according to package directions; cut each triangle in half (to make 2 smaller triangles) and flatten slightly.
Place 1 tablespoon cheese mixture on center of each triangle; fold over and seal edges tightly with fork.
Place on ungreased baking sheet; bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
