Ingredients
| 1 lb. lean boneless veal from leg or shoulder, trimmed of fat and cut in 1 1/2 in, cubes | ||
| Garlic salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 10 1/2-oz. can French onion soup, skimmed of fat | ||
| Dry sherry | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Stewed tomatoes | 8 Ounce | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Mushrooms | 4 Ounce, drained | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a nonstick skillet spray vegetable coating.
2) Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper on meat.
3) Brown meat in the skillet over moderate heat.
4) Add remaining ingredients, except the mushrooms and stir.
5) Cover and cook in simmering heat for 50 to 60 minutes.
6) Add the mushrooms and stir.
7) Cook uncovered over moderate heat till liquid reduces to a thick sauce.

8) Serve hot.
