Ingredients

 1 lb. lean boneless veal from leg or shoulder, trimmed of fat and cut in 1 1/2 in, cubes
 Garlic salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon
 10 1/2-oz. can French onion soup, skimmed of fat
 Dry sherry1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Stewed tomatoes8 Ounce
 Water1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Lemon juice1 Tablespoon
 Mushrooms4 Ounce, drained

Directions

MAKING
1) In a nonstick skillet spray vegetable coating.
2) Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper on meat.
3) Brown meat in the skillet over moderate heat.
4) Add remaining ingredients, except the mushrooms and stir.
5) Cover and cook in simmering heat for 50 to 60 minutes.
6) Add the mushrooms and stir.
7) Cook uncovered over moderate heat till liquid reduces to a thick sauce.

SERVING
8) Serve hot.
