Minestrone Au Pistou Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 medium clove garlic, minced
 
1 teaspoon basil, crushed
 
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
 
1 teaspoon tomato paste
 
1 tablespoon olive oil
 
2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) condensed minestrone soup
 
2 soup cans water

Directions

Using a bowl and wooden spoon (or a mortar and pestle), pound garlic and basil into a paste.
Blend in cheese and tomato paste.
Add oil.
In saucepan, heat soup and water.
Stir garlic mixture into soup.
