 Navy beans1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Water10 Cup (16 tbs)
 Carrots1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 2 cups finely shredded cabbage
 Peas1 8 1/2 Ounce, drained
 1 8-ounce can cut green beans, drained
 Tomatoes1 8 Ounce
 4 ounces fine noodles
 Salt2 Teaspoon
 Dried basil1 Teaspoon, crushed
 Light cream1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 3 tablespoons grated
 Parmesan cheese
 Butter3 Tablespoon
 Cooking oil3 Tablespoon
 Snipped parsley2 Tablespoon
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced

Directions

Rinse beans.
Combine beans and water; simmer 2 minutes.
Remove from heat; cover and let stand 1 hour.
Do not drain.
Add carrots;simmer, covered, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Add cabbage, peas, green beans, tomatoes, noodles, salt, and basil.
Simmer till noodles are done, 20 to 25 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients.
