 Shredded nut suet1⁄2 Pound

 Lemon1 1⁄2 , juiced (rind grated)

 Lemon peel1 Teaspoon
 Soaked prunes1⁄2 Pound
 Brown sugar1⁄4 Pound
 Salt To Taste
 Sultanas1⁄4 Pound
 Dates1⁄4 Pound
 Grated nutmeg1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Ginger1⁄4 Ounce
 Currants1⁄4 Pound
 Chopped nuts1⁄4 Pound
 Mixed spice1⁄4 Ounce
 Apple juice1⁄4 Pint

Directions

Wash and dry fruit.
Stone dates and prunes and put all fruit and the nuts through the mincer.
Blend in the spices, juice and rind, sugar and salt.
Stir very well and seal in jars.
