Minced Lamb Kebabs Recipe
|Boneless lamb shoulder||2 Pound, cut in large dice|
|Fresh root ginger||1 1⁄2 Inch, peeled and cut into 3-4 pieces|
|Potatoes||2 Large, boiled, peeled, and chopped|
|Plain yogurt||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1 Teaspoon|

Place the lamb, ginger, potatoes, chiles, yoghurt, salt, and pepper in a food processor.
Process for about 30 seconds (pulsing as it goes to keep the mixture moving properly) or until the mixture is a coarse puree.
Form the mixture into 6-8 patties, about 3 inches in diameter, and place them flat on a greased broiler pan.
Place the pan 4-5 inches under the heat source and cook the kebabs for 12-15 minutes, turning once, for medium, or longer if wished.
Serve the kebabs with pita bread and a fresh salad.
