Ingredients

 Lean beef2 Pound, boiled
 1 lb. suet chopped very fine
 Apples5 Pound, chopped
 1 lb. seeded raisins
 2 lbs. cujrants
 Citron3/4 Pound, sliced
 Cinnamon1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Nutmeg1 , grated
 Ground mace2 Tablespoon
 Ground cloves1 Tablespoon
 Allspice1 Tablespoon
 1 tablespoon fine salt
 Brown sugar2 1/2 Pound
 1 qt. sherry or 1 qt. boiled cider
 Brandy1 Pint

Directions

MAKING
1) In a wide bowl, mix chopped beef, suet, apples, raisins, currants, citron, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, cloves, allspice, salt, sugar and the alcohol. Mix them well.
2) Put the mixture in jars.
3) Store the jars in a cold, dry place.

SERVING
4) Let the meat mixture stand for at least 24 for hours before you use. Use the mince meat in a dish of your choice and serve.
