Millet Bread Recipe

Millet Bread is simply wonderful. This Millet Bread recipe was handed down over the generations. Do bake it!

Ingredients

 
1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk or plain yogurt
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) butter
 
1 tbs (15 ml) honey
 
1 pkg active dry yeast
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) warm water
 
2 eggs
 
2 cups (480 ml) Millet Flour
 
1/2 cup (120 ml) Low Fat Soy Flour

Directions

Combine yogurt and butter in saucepan, heating slowly to melt butter.
Dissolve yeast and honey in the warm water; add yogurt mixture and blend.
Beat in eggs; add flours and beat well.
Pour into well-oiled 4x8-inch loaf pan and let rise for 45 minutes.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40-45 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
Cool before cutting.
