Milk Chocolate Fudge Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
8 oz sweet or milk chocolate 250 g
1/2 cup whipping cream 125 mL
1/4 cup brewed coffee 50 mL
1/2 cup packed brown sugar 125 mL
1/4 cup corn syrup 50 mL
2 tbsp orange, apricot or cherry liqueur 25 mL
Directions
In heavy saucepan, combine chocolate, cream and coffee; heat over medium heat, stirring, until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth.
Stir in sugar and corn syrup; bring to boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved.
Reduce heat and boil gently, stirring once or twice, for 8 minutes.
Stir in liqueur.
Pour into hot sterilized jar; seal with prepared lid and screw on band.
Store in cool, dark, dry place for up to 3 months.
Refrigerate once opened.
Serve warm.
